Sweaty Betty don't know what a woman is

Have just been shopping in Sweaty Betty and there was a video playing on a large screen, detailing the triumphs of a trans girl being able to compete as a cheerleader and in female track sports competitively. I did have to mention to the sales assistant that the problem with including males in females teams is that a biological female gets excluded...explained about Laurel Hubbard being picked for the womens weightlifting team thus excluding a biological young woman from her chance to go to the Olympics . Anyone else seen this video? I'm a little disappointed Sweaty Betty aren't championing the rights of women to compete in a single sex category!

I love sweaty Betty, I am sports obsessed so spend a lot of time in sports kit (it’s my thing I spend money on).
I also feel very passionately about female sports equality and the erosion of female sport with the trans movement.
Gutted I won’t be able to shop there anymore. But I can’t support biological men taking over our competitions.
It breaks my heart to see Laurel Hubbard lifting.
With at least 19 psychological differences to a biological woman, only one of which, is testosterone.

Physiological* (although there probably are some psychological too)

I’m not sure getting hung up on the price of the leggings is helpful here. Expensive women’s sportwear shop sells expensive leggings isn’t exactly shocking.

Sweaty Betty choosing to champion the inclusion of transwomen in women’s sports is a big deal.

Interesting that they're all US athletes too. No UK LGBT+ athletes to support? Or is this mainly for a US audience now?

Good point. They're a British company aren't they?

I think this is aimed at the US market as it’s supporting a US charity.

Ebay? I got a great SB vest for about a fiver last year. I got a SB sale card through the door a couple of days ago, but ignored it.

@sadperson16

They last at least 4 times as long as leggings half the price so are actually pretty good value if bought in the sales. Usual way that being richer makes life cheaper in the long runi

I quite like sculpting effect as it reduces chafing potential from jiggling...

Sizing is quite generous
