Discussions on sexism in schools - split according to the 'sex they most identify with'

Just that really. It's boiling my blood so I need to vent - I was really cheered by the fact they're having this debate, including splitting into single sex groups to get open views. And then I read the clarification that this would be according to the sex the child most identifies with.
Most obvious is the confusion between sex and gender.
But given it's widely acknowledged that misogyny and sexual harassment is part of the social contagion for teenage girls identifying as trans... what a missed opportunity.
This is presumably happening in schools all over the country in reaction to the recent coverage of sexual harassment within schools.
