So sick of these utterly craven organisations. I hope she has a legal case against them for discrimination.

There have been many times when I have watched a company at the centre of a social media storm and thought, "just don't say anything! Less said, soonest mended".

This is not one of those cases. They made this atrocious decision right after Maya Forstater's judgement, and it's hit the national press.

Yes, I agree. There is certainly a case to be had for saying nothing.

But this isn't that case. And the longer it goes on, the more cowardly they look.

In many cases people have consulted Stonewall, because that's who has advised them.

But now Stonewall has been found to misrepresent the law so maybe there are some entirely different sorts of arguments going on.

Talking head, "Katie John" I think, on Radio 4 'This morning' misrepresented what is protected in the equality act. 'Gender Transition' or 'Gender identity' are not the protected characteristic of 'Gender Reassignment'.

Will Radio 4 correct this?

Nettie434 I do take your point but my “briefly famous trans woman” friend declined all interviews which were not about her personally/ where she lacked all expertise because she felt it would be disrespectful to listeners do otherwise. If I told you some of the topics she was asked to opine on you would think I was pulling your leg

I have often wondered why certain people are contacted so it's nice to get an insider perspective. I think your friend's attitude is the right one but I was still pleased Katy spoke as accusations of transphobia have affected everyone from authors, to artists, to comedians and so it was possible to talk in general terms as they did.

Oh wow KellyWhite2 your artwork was brilliant. I'm glad it's getting so much exposure - it's so powerful.

Thank you Yellowfish and WinterTrees, I’ve never attempted to sell prints or T-shirt’s before but I’m going to have a look into it (I’m useless at this sort of thing 😬). Here’s hoping Jess continues to go from strength to strength after RA’s absolutely shocking treatment of her 😁

I love your drawing, Kelly White2! I too would buy cards or stickers if you were to produce them. And it would be very powerful printed or stitched on a face mask.

I think that tactic only works of you do it BEFORE you put out a statement on social media to half a million follows calling someone transphobic and saying you'll stop working with her.

TheFnozwhowasmirage Thank you honestly it’s bizarre I didn’t expect it to get much attention! I’d be honoured to collaborate with Jess but she’s so talented I’d have imposter syndrome immediately haha. When I’ve got my twins to bed tonight I’ll have a look at what I can put together, but if you have use for the design please feel free to use it. I’m a bit rusty on my drawing but what has happened to Jess has stoked an old fire so hopefully I’ll be able to do more works in future

I have a small amount of knowledge about selling your own stickers and prints.

If you didn't want to devote too much time to it, the best thing to do might be to digitise it and sell it somewhere like Red Bubble? I'm not sure if they would continue to stock it if there was any outcry.

Wouldn't Posy want to purchase the rights. She's already set up @KellyWhite2 and it would save you lots of work.

It's an absolutely brilliant image. I'd like to see it on face masks on public statues. Millicent Fawcett for a start. And the Joshua Reynolds one at the RA that features on the Facebook page.
