The ABM put out a message for people who are 'breast or chest feeding'. Even they don't understand that it takes an adult human female to feed a baby.

Surely it should be renamed Association of Chestfeeding Birthing Parents?

DoingItMyself · 15/06/2021 13:10

It needs to rename, to be consistent, doesn't it?

I believe chest fluid is not nutritional.

Luckily breast fluid is.

AnonAnom940 · 15/06/2021 14:44

Where are they feeding from then if they aren't feeding from their breasts? Where is the milk coming from?

I'd love to know then my baby's dad can take a share in the feeding/human dummying.

Silly. Men and women have breasts, and chests. But only women can breastfeed. Nobody can chestfeed.

toffeebutterpopcorn · 15/06/2021 17:18

Just on twitter? I saw a she/her say that in a tweet (so completely ignored it).

TooTiredForToday · 15/06/2021 17:25

They just sound like they have an extremely poor understanding of human anatomy when they say this sort of thing Confused

@RoyalCorgi

Surely it should be renamed Association of Chestfeeding Birthing Parents?
Definitely! Am horrified they are using such exclusionary language Wink

Just commented on their fb post as I couldn't stop myself. What a lot of cow poo. Forgetting everything else, men also have breasts.
