My family have been labour since its inception and I remember how, for Labour, Socialism as a big no go area. The middle classes prefer to be called socialist (albeit armchair socialists) because it's cool.

I note that I never said anything about working class people - you're the bigot who assumed that I was talking about working class people.

I was as much talking about the upper middle classes who are being screwed (relatively) by right wing capitalism for the ultra rich almost as much as the poor are.

The reason I made the assumption is because Labour itself thinks working class people need educating out of their wrong think. Labour have a habit of trying to tell people how they should think.

If this is a deliberate tactic, then he's letting the women's rights issue slip way too far.

Corbyn would have been PM if the press were honest, ditto pretty much every labour leader over 40 years.

Alienating 50% of the population and expecting them to carry on voting for him, delivering leaflets and making tea while giving up their fundamental rights seems a pretty odd strategy to me.

I firmly believe that a huge reason we have the TRA debate is that the right have pushed it with the sole intension of splitting the left, just like they did with brexit.

The left has led to anne Ruzylo losing her position as women's officer, opened up women's only shortlists to men who identify as women, signed daft pledges which said women's groups were hate groups and stated male rapists should be housed in women's prisons.

Whoever started it the left have embraced it more than anyone, the right just have to sit back and watch.

Possibly… at least up to the point they’re asked to start paying for those socialist policies to be implemented, at which point it all falls apart.
