I've a suspicion that quite via few lawyers have been "holding" these cases awaiting the Maya decision and that not only has the dam burst but some will absolutely want to set some career defining legal precedents (if they can) on the back of it.
Makes sense. The ruling was so clear, and there have been so many examples of bad treatment, that they should be easy wins.
And the ruling has been long-awaited, and the win was expected, so of course they'd be ready to go.
Just never occurred to me it would move this fast :)
I signed up for this expecting the precedent to be set, but expected a bit more of a slog. I guess the appeal gave extra planning time and publicity.
Wouldn't have been a next-day thing if it went her way immediately, and the precedent wouldn't have been so strong, would it?
