Stonewall - do they suggest sanitary disposal bins in men's loos? If not why not?

I haven't read the FOI responses where Stonewall gave organisations suggestions as to how to make their workplaces more LGBT friendly.

I would have thought the lack of sanitary disposal bins would be a huge barrier to transmen using male loos.

Obviously they may choose not to use them for other reasons - but wouldn't it be an absolutely excellent way for an organisation to show how trans friendly they were?

Has it ever been suggested?

As I have done events where stonewall are involved, I know this is true.
They are all about the TWAW very little is said a out Transmen.
It's all about letting any penis owning body enter the female toilets, even if that person has a beard and only came out the day before.

@AlfonsoTheMango yes. Even in modern restaurants!

@ohforarainyday

Gee I'm beginning to suspect Stonewall and other TRA organisations only care about transpeople who have penises...
Ya think? 😂

I'd be interested to know whether a majority of transmen experience sufficient dysphoria to have stopped their periods (taking back-to-back pills, for example) and so less need for sanitary bins, etc. Obviously that doesn't work for everyone and so there would still be a need for bins in the men's toilets, but periods are (often) unpleasant enough for women, and so perhaps many transmen have stopped theirs.

I think Welsh Government's Staff Toilets policy says that all toilet cubicles should have sanitary bins in them. Seems a bit of waste of money. I doubt whether they have enough transmen on the staff to warrant it. And if they're on testosterone don't their periods stop after a while.

Yet again it's a case of the Emperor's New Clothes.
