Anyone else completed the online equality training where the example is given of a man who now says he identifies as a woman, complete with a photo of a man wearing lipstick. The scenario is that women employees are complaining about him using women's toilets and referring to him as he.
The training says this is wrong and the manager has to challenge this.

Not seem this is it from an external training provider?

It is online training bought in by my employer.

Reading that, it struck me that this is potentially another tool to drive women from the workplace. There was a man I worked with in my last job. He cross-dressed at weekends, but kept it strictly out of the workplace. I occasionally wondered what I would do if he changed his mind and started claiming womanhood and insisted on using our changing room. I got on well enough with him, but definitely would have been deeply uncomfortable with him there.
