I'm glad he asked the q about what could be "good in a patriarchy" (if that's the right term, he put it differently) as I started to think it would be interesting to hear Julie and Jordan P bash it out. She actually broadly discussed what JP seems to say in a simplistic way (though he denies patriarchy exists) but obviously she takes it to a global level and sex class and the violence perpetrated against this specific sex class.
I know BB also has posed a POV that "being too strongly feminist" has the effect of creating the stance of anti feminism so it was good to hear discussion around male allies and cessation of male violence, and the main reasons why women's Lib started in the U.K. A useful analysis re US feminism as certainly that style of feminism has influenced feminism today here as well as the intersection with social feminism,
