Canadian women who have been through the prison system & who have experienced harassment/assault & been failed by every org/institution as they wilfully silenced them/minimised or ignored their stories of trauma - are standing up & standing together to challenge the authorities who are telling them even to complain about sexual assault is transphobic.

Heather Mason, who has worked hard to reach out and find other women, has been brilliant. This letter is a testament to her resolve & determination to fight the system that's telling them their safety & dignity isn't important.

people will look back at this time in history and think those in authority had lost their minds! Safeguarding out the window, womens dignity and rights to single sex spaces trashed....insanity

One thing that I am always being asked for is evidence. Evidence of these assaults and raoes and it has to be court evidence or police reports or it does not count.

I find it very interesting that instead of saying yes, this is a dreadful problem, maybe talking about this will help find a solution the tactic is to insist it's not evidence unless it's rubber stamped by the state.

Why not just admit there is a problem and talk about solutions? It might all be sewn up by now if that had been the approach.

This is so so depressing. How can this be happening. The most vulnerable and violated women in society are being used as validation tools and as sex objects for men. And they aren't allowed to talk about it. This is so fucked up it is hard to accept it is happening.

Could women set up a fundraising platform? Like with Ovarit/Spinster so that the truth about biology and dimorphic sex in humans could be voiced without being suppressed.

And we could support the pushback against misogynistic tyranny.

Like with Posie and women having control over spaces for women, then the 'lads' and their groupies couldn't suppress and over ride women's rights.

I must admit, I'd be happy knowing that women, who support women, are at the wheel.
