Why are men like this being released?

This is someone who has repeatedly been convicted of rape. Who sparked achange in the law after being allowed to represent himself and cross examine his victims in 1997. Who was first convicted of sex with a12 year old in 1992. Who was acquitted in 2019. Who attacked a woman so badly she was left on crutches and subsequently died.

Why on earth is a man like this being released to carry on raping women. He is clearly very very dangerous. I truly don't understand why more isn't being done to safeguard women from him

Because women aren't considered human.

This happens all the time and it feels relentless. I genuinely don't know when or even if it will change.

Well done the victim for getting away and reporting, trusting that she might be believed. If the judge had not permitted the testimony from the woman from the 2019 case (where he was acquitted of a pretty much identical attack) and evidence of previous convictions, would his latest victim have been believed I wonder. What must it feel like to be the woman in the 2019 case knowing that your word against his wasn't good enough- it took the combined sufferings of 5 women to secure the conviction in the identical 2021 case. The woman from the 2019 case fidn't get justice for herself but she has helped to get justice for another.

It reminds me of the front page of one of the newspapers reporting the Bill Cosby trial, which had one of the most powerful headlines ever:
"HE SAID - SHE SAID, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said, she said"...
the two words repeating and receding filling up the whole page.

Because the world is still run by men.

What a vile oxygen thief he is.
