Fans of The Kominksy Method might particularly enjoy episode 3 of the latest series, entitled It's Getting More and More Absurd. Morgan Freeman has been cast as Quincy in the updated version of the TV series about an investigative coroner. This new incarnation of Quincy is gender fluid and has to instruct his naive sidekick in pronouns. Starts about 4.20 seconds into the episode.

Looks like Hollywood thinks GI is BS, but perhaps you have to be as old and revered as Michael Douglas to get away with it. There is an unflattering reference to Eddie Redmayne elsewhere. .

I was catching up on The Good Fight recently and they had a storyline about a trans person taking the spot of a woman on sports team. The writers clearly got it and even had the lawyer pointing out how mediocre and unremarkable the trans person had been at the sport before transitioning and being allowed to compete as a woman.

Most people get it, it's the insane press bias that's confusing the issue.

Thanks for this. Makes me want to stick with it as episode 1 was a bit Confused with the young woman walking around naked. Madelyn seemed to have totally changed character too.

@MattDamon I'm watching series 3 of TGF at the moment and I can never tell if they're insanely woke, or quietly subverting it.

It's the last series. Alan Arkin dropped out and I think they decided to blow the whole thing up by hitting the hyper-reality button. The Douglas-Arkin relationship was the show so it had to end. Good on the old fellas for taking the piss, I say.
