I though the APPG came to an end in March? Liz Truss said it ended in March, when giving oral evidence to WESC

That was an external advisory group, not the All-Party Parliamentary Group.

I read the outrage today that Liz Truss wants to create a new LGBT advisory panel but with a wider representation. She is really ruffling feathers.

If the APPG are relying on news briefings from P News I wouldn't be surprised if it's members were convinced that JK Rowling was public enemy no.1.

It's not huge sums of money but it's still taxpayer money going to P News for gathering a few articles together, via a quick Google, most of which they would have written themselves.

Money for old rope as my Nan would say.

I understood that to mean that benefits in kind were received by the All party parliamentary group (rather than payed out) i.e. Crispin Blunt et Al received 65k from Baring group and pink news wrote a round up for them for free. The point being they are supposed to be impartial because they have influence on policy. Might be wrong.
