I think most people knew I was a radical feminist but without understanding what that really is, if that makes sense. Well I shared an article about stonewall's status on 'sex by deception' aka rape. So now they know.

I think if anyone ever tried to compel me to put pronouns in my email I’d put he/him. Is that wrong? I don’t identify as male (obvs) but I identify as wanting to be treated with respect and taken seriously.

Back to the original point, I’ve come out as feminist on FB and am slowly working my way up to GC.

There was a conviction of sex by deception in the UK - a case of a young female person who presented as male (but, I don't think they actually said they were trans) and had a relationship with a young woman. She consented to penetrative sex as part of their relationship. but, her partner did not have a penis and somehow managed to disguise this under blankets and used dildos on her. Which she did not consent to.

That person was found guilty and served a sentence, and, I have heard, then moved to Wales and did the same thing to some other naive young woman.

So, very unusual because that is a female sexual predator, but, the principle of sex by deception was clear enough for her to be convicted of a nasty crime.

I spoke out today at work, I had no choice as I was in a diversity/ESG meeting and one of our junior associates (female, very right on) put "gender pronouns" on the agenda, lots of "being kind" and "it's really helpful". I said I disagreed and sent the link round from the Legal Feminist blog, have yet to have a reply so quite nervous.
