TODAY at 2.00!

If you want to know what's happening in Wales on the GC front, and who is doing what to fight for women's rights, Merched Cymru and LGB Alliance Cymru members will be joining an international panel of speakers at this free webinar.

Thanks to the Women's Human Rights Campaign for hosting this international event.

Sorry - today at 3.00 not 2.00. I'm overexcited!

From Wales to the world! This is big.

Olderbadger1 · 22/05/2021 14:50

In spite of everything it feels good to be part of this resurgence of feminism doesn't it? I would have preferred to be at home rearranging the scatter cushions but the sense of solidarity is awesome!

Proud (and excited) to be part of this event. Charlotte (Canada) starting off with the message that language matters. Astonishing to see the impact on women and girls as the word woman is colonised to include self ID. We have to stand up for Welsh women and girls to stop and reverse this in Wales. MC are working to get this debate taken into the mainstream. We will continue to lobby to get a place at the table with Welsh Govt where decisions are made, not just responding to consultations with predetermined outcome. The fight goes on!

stillamum22 · 22/05/2021 16:19

Brilliant Ali Morris from MC, talking about women's services being forced to accept trans women, and fear of being defunded if they centred women's needs. Its a shocking picture with the Welsh Govt being captured with trans ideology 'Stonewall Law' 😡

Olderbadger1 · 22/05/2021 16:53

Ali and Sarah were seriously brilliant. Looking forward to watching again once it's all up on YouTube. It's terrifying to learn about the parallels with other countries, and the extent of the capture, but also cheering to realise how many women are out there fighting to retain our sex-based rights. I feel thoroughly exhilarated.

Thanks to Merched Cymru and LGB Alliance Cymru for being there.

Missed today’s but these webinars are brilliant, connecting many of us from all over the world. Shocking that the dangerous nonsense is everywhere.
