Is that picture of Jessica Smith?! Wow.

FindTheTruth · 03/05/2021 17:05

uggh. well done those paedophile hunters. ffs

TheHandmadeTail · 03/05/2021 17:13

I’m pleased they’re using TW in the headline rather than woman.

HecatesCatsInFancyHats · 03/05/2021 17:15

Good to see the BBC using the correct terminology, although not entirely clear why correct pronouns need to be respected when the intent is to rape girls? This is a male pattern crime. Sincerely hope the police are recording the crime correctly too.

Leafstamp · 03/05/2021 17:20

Frankly, I’d like to see preferred pronouns deliberately ignored when a crime like this is committed.

Disgusting man.

Herja · 03/05/2021 17:26

And this is a crime that will presumably be attributed to women.

I am pleased to see the BBC refer to this person as a Trans woman, rather than as a woman, but the knowledge that crime stats will record this as a female crime is fucking galling.

Dirty fucking pervert. (For clarity MNHQ, my use of pervert relates to the accused crime only.)

334bu · 03/05/2021 17:26

grahamlinehan.substack.com/p/why-paedophiles-love-the-gender-revolution

Seems also tried to have sentence reduced because of gender identity along with others.

TiltTopTable · 03/05/2021 17:28

Good that this animal is referred to as 'trans' in the article, but will this be recorded as a female crime by the ONS?

334bu · 03/05/2021 17:41

but will this be recorded as a female crime by the ONS?

Probably yes.

I am waiting for the posters that come to state this is a ‘one off’ or that ‘this person isn’t trans at all’ or whatever. Where is the ‘she is a woman too, it’s ok, you’ll all be fine’ breezy patronizing we’ve been coming across lately?

MarieIVanArkleStinks · 03/05/2021 18:13

TWAW - until one of them commits a crime. In which case 'they are not one of us'.

AfternoonToffee · 03/05/2021 18:19

@MarieIVanArkleStinks

TWAW - until one of them commits a crime. In which case 'they are not one of us'.
And yet we (as in the cunty women) are not allowed to be concerned that "they are not one of us".

Surely by saying "they are not one of us" they are acknowledging that some will take advantage.

I know I am using logic here

SchadenfreudePersonified · 03/05/2021 19:32

Doesn't specify whether the 2 year sentence is to be served in a male-sex or female-sex jail.

Also refers to him as "she". He's a man. In ordinary life I would accord a TW the courtesy of female pronouns, but in sexual abuse situation to use "she" softens and minimises the abuse.

Agree.

I was also wondering whether he'll be in a male or female prison
DryHeave · 03/05/2021 20:35

See, woman are just as bad as men.

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 03/05/2021 21:50

So grim
Why have the BBC suddenly used TW? Does this just mean the disgusting male uses this identity rather than “woman” or are they actually getting closer to truthful reporting?

HecatesCatsInFancyHats · 03/05/2021 21:53

I'm hoping it's because they get so many complaints when they post a story that features a headline which says "woman" and a photograph of the offender that blatantly says "man" to the viewer that it's impossible to continue to gaslight the audience. But then I'm ever the optimist.

Gibbonsgibbonsgibbons · 03/05/2021 22:27

I hope so too HecatesCatsInFancyHats
I always wonder who chooses the photos...

Yes! Bit of a shocker, seeing as it's the BBC.
