Can't be bothered with cats or dogs. At least most children grow up and become independent

My dachshund, Colonel Klink, reacts differently depending on the sex of the person who comes to my door. He's much more aggressive with men.

The cat video is very funny but, cats are just like small, hairy, very slow, less lovable greyhounds........I can add in Germaine Greer as a greyhound owner........

My dachshund definitely prefers women. He's stayed with various couples for his hols with holidays4dogs, he always attaches himself to the woman rather than a man (the opportunity to see what he did in same sex couples unfortunately never arose).

Our rescue mostly greyhound lurcher is GC. He's nervous of all strangers but especially men and has no problem telling the difference even in the depths of winter when all dog walkers wear the same uniform of boots trousers and a thick coat and hat. Can't think how he does it

My little girl is often mis-sexed (although I think she is gender non-conforming - scrappy, filthy and lacking stereotypical feminist). She now sports a sparkly pink collar and is still frequently called he.

I may have to start reporting hate crimes.

Cats come pre-programmed with all the wisdom they need or desire (or so they assume). So you can't educate, let alone re-educate one.

Maybe the cat was trying to re-educate the human?

Dogs and cats definitely do. It’s not unusual for a pet owner to say ‘she doesn’t like men’ or ‘he prefers men’. Damn those animals... it’s not like humans are...

I came back to the thread to watch the cat video again, and wow those horses are having none of it! Absolutely incredible.

Our dog is female, and doesn’t like men. She tolerates my husband. And she can see or sense a man 100 metres away in a dark alley, she starts to do this low growl and is on alert. She’s only 14 pounds, but she has the heart of a lion.
