Promising Young Woman - possible spoilers after initial OP

I watched this film last night with DH. Pretty blown away, has anyone else seen it who would like to talk about it?

The disparity between the reviews and what I believe the story is I find really interesting, particularly bias depending on the sex of the author.

I’ve just watched it. It was really good. Hard watching in places, especially at the end. I wanted so much for the boyfriend to do the right thing in the end, even if it was too late to make a difference, I wanted to think there was some redemption for someone. It resonated with me though. It’s made me think about some past experiences which I still feel very conflicted about.

I've just realised that Emerald Fennell played Patsy in Call the Midwife. I heard her on the radio the other day, but didn't realise that this was the film she was talking about.
And wasn't it beautiful, visually - such striking scenes and amazing use of colour.

I can’t believe I’ve only just twigged who she is!
