Same reason for holding an event around the publication of Sarah Pedersen's book on Mumsnet, I would imagine.

I think mumsnet has a slightly wider remit than WPUK. But posted as a point of info, so ...

I meant, WPUK are doing this for the same reason WPUK did the event with Sarah Pedersen in conversation with Selina Todd about Pedersen's book The Politicisation of Mumsnet.

Stock's book, like Pedersen's, seems well within WPUK 'remit', as does having Suzanne Moore involvement. The proximate cause of Moore leaving the Guardian was the treatment she received there after publishing an article in defence of Selina Todd who was no platformed on account of her connection with WPUK.
