We are honoured to host a courageous panel at the forefront of the sector challenging male violence against women. They are creating, providing, developing and defending services for and with women victims and survivors of men's violence. Register to join us online on Thursday 15 April to hear, and ask your questions, about the fight for women's specialist services.

Sad to say I have my doubts about this as not sure that all those speaking are aren't part of "women's" services that think TWAW. Sad

Do you know how to actually access single sex services for domestic abuse? There seem to be so few that still do this.

Cherrytreeblossoms - depending on whether you are in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland you go to the web site of the WA federation for the country. They have directories of their member refuges.

And for instance on the WAFE directory it allows you to select types of service. www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-abuse-directory/

But I think there is a difference between needing a refuge space, which because of shortages you could be referred to a refuge outside of your area (which in some cases is advisable anyway) and getting help / advise.

Similarly with Rape Crisis Centres.

But all of these have shortage of staff, ie in terms of demand, because of lack of funding.
