Anyone else still waiting on paper form for Census?

I phoned and requested one last week as I want to put a written comment on it but am slightly anxious that I haven't received it yet and census day was yesterday. I think it is OK to wait for the paper copy but can't find definitive advice on the website and the helpline is busy.

Anyone know?

Why don't you do it online? It took 5mins and there were some free text bits depending on your answers etc

I've requested but only yesterday so not expecting it will come within 24 hours

I requested it last week before the results of the court case. Think they said 5 working days

Me too - I requested it only yesterday (as I left the unopened envelope in a safe place until yesterday, and then discovered no actual form)

I expect it'll turn up in the next day or two.

Yep. I forget the blokes name, but he's in charge of it & he said they won't start chasing them for a couple of days (basically there won't be a problem/fine if you do it willingly).

Mine arrived today, but I hadn't heard this last night so I ended up doing the online one.

I thought I'd heard in the week that they'd sorted out the sex/gender issue?

Mine arrved on Saturday, ordered on Wednesday 10th.

It forms say on the website to complete by 21st or as soon as you can after that date. As long as you arent refusing to complete etc you wouldnt be fined or anything.

I ordered mine Thursday night and got it today.

The information is for who was present on 21st, but it doesn't need to be completed on the 21st, just as soon as possible afterwards.

My local council is opening the main libraries for people to go in and complete it online from today until the weekend, so even official bodies aren't expecting it done immediately.

My paper copy hasn't arrived yet either, I ordered it last week. Will give it a few more days, hopefully it will turn up!

I ordered mine 2 or 3 weeks ago and no delivery yet. I phoned again yesterday and the automated message said it should be within 5 working days.

A pet hate of mine is online forms that only let you see a couple of questions/one page at a time, and don't let you reverse and edit a previous answer. No idea if the census is designed like that, but wasn't keen to try.

Don't worry - there is an option to click 'Previous' and to go back. The online form is much much simpler to fill out than the paper one. I tried the paper one first and kept on making mistakes so there were a lot of blacked out boxes. Plus my pen kept on running out! I only seemed to have green inked pens in the house thanks to my children stealing them all
