Why I need a paper census

I’ve seen mentioned a few times here that people are using a paper census.
Why??

Does this allow me to correctly identify my sex and my disbelief in gender?

Just want to make sure I don’t miss an opportunity.

Thank you. I was on that thread but I still haven’t made the connection between what is going on in the courts and the need for a paper census? Surely they will change guidance for all formats??
