I was just reading that article.
It's horrific, but it doesn't surprise me. I suspect public schools have been hotbeds for all sorts of appalling behaviour over many years.

Not just public schools. I think in general sexual harassment is just expected in schools - almost part of the growing up process Hmm

I suspect school is one of the places where the ability to sexually harass with impunity is reinforced in men.

I agree. It happened routinely at my comp. I do wonder if public schools have been more likely to close rank and hush things up. Don't want the paying customers to be upset.

Definitely not just public schools.

Boys from rich families, well connected and so with immense privilege are more likely to go on to positions of power.

We've had some ghastly threads about the level of sexual harassment in schools here and it starts at such a young age - with girls of 5 years of age being told off by Playground Monitors for teasing boys when they attempted to report their assault.
