So there is this Canadian guy, who is the father of two young girls, who goes around quietly with what you might call a sandwich board or billboard and stands outside buildings to express his opposition to prescribing puberty blockers to children (see photos)
It turns out that Canadians really don't like this sort of thing and he was attacked on the street last night. This post on twitter has some video showing the attack:-

I took one punch to the face and one right hook to the back of my head from that big guy, but I’m hard-headed so no worries.
My left forearm is broken, but I feel worse for my new friend who came out to support.
I'm just glad that things are not so violent here. Canada does seem to have moved a lot more quickly in this direction.
ps Talking about a guy with a sandwich board - if anybody is old enough - do you remember that guy who was always in central London back in the 1970s and 1980s?
