I hope this is okay to post here - I'm currently a final year university student studying children's evaluation of different genders in STEM, specifically how girls are evaluated in STEM subjects.

If you have children/family members/friends aged 7-10 years it would be amazing if they could fill out our survey to allow us to try and understand further why there is a discrepancy between males and females in STEM!

You may also like to post in the Primary section under education, then you won't only get children of feminists!

That is a very good suggestion and hadn't thought about that - thank you so much! Have just done it :))

Your're supposed post your survey on the surveys board, link below, where probably no one will notice it. But if you want to discuss the subject in general with MNers on this board or one of the education ones and mention you've got a survey that would be fine I think.Smile (I'm a scientist with a DD who is an engineering student so it's a topic I'm interested in)

Gender is why you don't get girls in STEM

Thank you very much for your feedback - I have posted in the relevant area. Sorry if I shouldn't have posted here, tried hard to find the right place!

It's not obvious, survey threads often get started here and then moved.
