I don't post often, but I am sat here listening to LBC today and rightly so, everyone presenter is discussing the safety of women and girls in light of the awful and sad news about Sarah Everard. Every presenter and guest, Mayor Khan, are all saying how unsafe the streets can be for W&G (women and Girls), how we have to monitor how we go about our business and that is 'normally' men that sexually assault and make us feel unsafe - how can they then not see that this is exactly why we don't want to share out spaces with TW, as we are vulnerable with men in our spaces. Its awful that this is being discussed because of Sarah, but I hope it makes people really think about what women are saying instead of just calling us bigots, terfs etc.

Our esteemed mayor? He never has a peep to say about women or their fears and is always very forthright about his beliefs on gender...

Yes, there's another thread on this point. It's unfathomable. But they won't change.

@Doyoumind I did have a quick look, but couldn't see a thread. I really wanted to phone in and comment on the irony, our mare did keep saying male gender violence, I really wished Shelagh Fogerty had called him out on it - I was too chicken to phone in.....
