'as part of the protest for the international women's day I joined along with the women of @lamazone
the brave survivors of CAPP (the collective for the abolition of pornography and prostitution). There were about 15 of us.'

• the full thread is there, but they were surrounded, threatened, and attacked by masked counter-protestors. Eventually, after 4 hours, they were escorted to the subway. Last tweet:

'Please share this thread, the situation in France is getting more and more serious. Their violence is visible and completely unapologetic. We refuse to stop protesting patriarcal oppressions but we're getting more and more scared for our safety.'

There are no words, really, for the misogyny involved.

Appalling misogyny and violence. 😡 They were pelted with eggs, the counter protestors tried to spray paint in their faces.
