Mockolate He is a politician who was publicly strongly in favour of mixed sex toilets, and said single sex toilets were a concept past their sell by date.

Since then he has been convicted for downloading category A images of child abuse.

Eric Joyce is a convicted paedophile politician who scandalously didn't get a custodial sentence, who regularly posts on Twitter with replies turned off because of the backlash he would get. Twitter are happy to let him post. Hope that helps.

Eric Joyce is a former Labour MP who has convictions for attacking people when he's drunk, including in the House of Commons bars, and for downloading child pornography- or to be more accurate downloading pictures of young children being sexually abused.

So I repeat my question- what sort of person thinks he is worth following on Twitter?

I once had a neighbour who got 18 months for doing the same thing as Joyce.

Apparently it's not rape threats against women who don't agree with you. Or the phrase choke on my lady dick.

I think he actually gained followers, because people wanted to quote-tweet him with "a paedophile speaks" every time he posted. They've got bored of it now.

But I've just checked, and the official UKLabour twitter is following him and that's not an excuse they can use.

His 'sentence' - for a second offence of downloading the most extreme child pornography - is a scandal. He went straight back onto his Blue Tick twitter a/c and posts as if nothing happened.

There are several people sending death threats to an actress I follow - they keep getting allowed to re-register using different usernames (you can tell it’s the same users). So it’s interesting that Twitter will allow that but then block IPs for trans hate.

Mixture of people who never unfollowed him, people who want to keep an eye on him, and a huge amount of troll accounts.

So many Scottish politicians are still following him. Bit shocked by that.

I think he picked up a lot of Nigerian followers when someone found an old tweet of EJ suggesting that their former president was dead - lot of ppl wanting to know more but he never answered.

Doesn't explain all the other followers though. This is what happens when courts don't deal with such wretches properly.

Maybe they just don't realise? These are all accounts following over a thousand other accounts. Stuff he says is unlikely to be coming up in the feeds and giving them that "oh hell I'm following a paedophile" moment.

Anything critical of the trans movement/ideology is almost certainly going to get you in trouble. This is a shame as I follow a number of high follower TRAs for the comedy value (McKinnon, Chase Strangio etc) but you just cannot interact else they instablock or report.
My last ban was last Summer and it was in relation to the Little Britain removal from BritBox following the George Floyd death. I said something like, and a paraphrase - Little Britain took the p out of everyone. So it's OK to take the p out of gays etc, but you dare do blackface then thats it?
