I lurk a lot on these threads but don't often post. I have learned so much and am looking to be more brave with voicing my GC views in real life. My work place is totally captured with pro nouns springing up like whackamole (although I note that it is almost exclusively women announcing them, not many men feel the need to, funny that...)

In the meantime, following the excellent speeches in HoL the other day, you may or may not have seen Cherie Blair raising her head above the parapet - yesterday afternoon she reposted Janice Turner's latest article for The Times on LinkedIn (see screenshot). Hopefully this is the start of something.

Last summer there was a radio interview with a contributor discussing, at length, the impact of Covid on women in the workplace, pregnant women, women burdened with care responsibilities compared to men, increase in domestic violence etc.

I found myself agreeing with everything - and remember being so pleasantly surprised, that I even commented to my hubby about it. It was only at the end I realised it what Cherie Blair.
