A useful phrase for me to use,

"I don't have a gender identity and I consider it a violation of my freedom of conscience and belief to impose one on me."

Would others use it?

I don't think a gender identity is being imposed on you though (Or maybe the gender identity agender is) I think it is more that a belief system you don't share is being imposed on you.

I have been forcibly gendered as a result of sex-role stereotyping as a child - but I actively resist elements of this.

There was a thread recently about an organisation changing sex to gender on their monitoring information (might even have been the Labour Party?) so if you'd selected female sex you were now listed as having female gender. Sounds like forced gendering to me.

"Are you Catholic or Protestant?"

"Neither, I'm an atheist."

"Yes, but are you a Catholic atheist or a Protestant atheist?"

If people weren't then told 'oh so you're c*s then' it would be great...

Interesting suggestion and an alternative to the 'I don't identify as a woman, I am a woman', or 'I don't identify as a man, I am a man (for men)'

Yes.

It's depressing that so many things have been captured that women who feel like people are thinking of how on earth to fill stuff in.
