About time the men had their identity stripped

After yesterday, this feels like two steps forward and one step back.

Hasbro is making sure all feel welcome in the Potato Head world by officially dropping the Mr from the Mr Potato Head brand name and logo to promote gender equality and inclusion

But Hasbro have tweeted saying this isn't true - the boxes still say Mr and Mrs.

I saw a tweet from Hasbro saying that Mr and Mrs Potato Head will still be called that, but will basically now be under the Potato Head banner, rather than both under the Mr Potato Head name. Which makes perfect sense honestly.

Yep it's just means Mrs potato head will no longer come under the Mr potato head brand, a bit like when a woman is referred to as Mrs John Reed even thought that's not her name!
