I probably can't link to it without being deleted, because it's a compilation of Magdalen saying bannable facts, but I want to direct your attention to Mr Menno's video on youtube. He's basically amplified her legendary words, and I was moved to tears.

Perhaps someone can link it in a post which is less likely to get the thread pulled than if it's in the OP.

Yes I watched it and I found it very emotional too. Just listening to her speaking in a compilation was great. I'd also never seen the video of her speaking at an event. Mr Menno is such a star.

I'll try linking to it so if it's not allowed MN can just delete my post instead.

In tears. She was so smart, so funny, so incisive, so brave and so young. She achieved so much in her short life ,and she deserved to live out her three score and ten.

Rest in power Magdalen.

A total shero. Her bravery blew me away almost as much as her determination to not give a flying f**k. One of the first women to simply tell the truth and to ignore the pressure to be kind.

Thanks for sharing the link, I really enjoyed watching that video, even though I've watched all her videos so often I more or less know them by heart.

How incredibly brave and clear sighted she was. Imagine daring to speak out against the erasure of lesbians at the university LGBTQ+++ society, knowing that nobody else there would dare to back you up and that the genderists would put a massive target on your back.

Her begging us to be brave and speak up was a catalyst for real change. There are so many more people aware of the stealth capture of our institutions because of her, the department of education have forbidden schools from brainwashing children that they could have been "born in the wrong body", more legal challenges are in the pipeline, the LGB Alliance has formed, and members of the house of Lords have woken up, spoken out and challenged other politicians to do the same.

What a terrible loss for all women her death was.

That is a glorious tribute, uplifting. And women have a great song for the next march we all manage to go on.

Some people have the gift of being able to resonate with others. They touch something deep inside us and those sparks of recognition and inspiration ignite.

We're lucky she reached so many in such a short time.

I sobbed when I watched her last video

An emotional watch but tempered with the ridiculous fact that sharing this video would get me into all sorts of trouble. How have we got to the point that simply explaining that a woman is an adult human female is a dangerous view? We should accept people who want to live their lives differently but this shouldn’t be at the expense of the safety or rights of others. Why is this so hard?

My child’s school asked parents to submit our thoughts on being a women for International Women’s Day. I am going to enjoy answering ‘what do you think it means to be a woman?’ Sending a link to the video might be a bit much.

Be more Magdalen indeed. I took a baby step last night challenging some safeguarding policies for a national institution I volunteer with (I am sure you an guess who). Next stop, my kids' school. I am going to make a sign for my bathroom mirror, so I see it every morning: Today, I will be more Magdalen

Thank you too Socrates11, seeing that clip again really lifted my mood. Although now it's bugging me what that song is...

I wish I had known her or could have at least met her and thanked her for all that she did.

She was a brilliant, brilliant young woman who helped me articulate so much of what I was feeling into simple, factual, powerful language, and made me feel less lonely and less like I was going insane.
