Is anyone else concerned about the potential discrimination against women if we start having to prove we've been vaccinated for employment, or even just to go to the pub? Are pregnant women going to have to have the vaccination against current UK medical advice to keep their jobs, and breastfeeding mothers told to stop feeding and get vaccinated instead?
My employer is currently deciding on whether to only let vaccinated staff back to the office - it sounds great in theory that you'd be able to work at home if you're not vaccinated, but in reality you'd end up sidelined. Then there's the added issue of having to tell work if you're very early stages of pregnancy why you can't get vaccinated; I lost my first two pregnancies in the first trimester and certainly wouldn't have wanted work to know I was pregnant as I'd seen too many women sidelined over the years (in more than one company) as soon as they informed their manager.
