Labour and gender identity

I've just logged onto my membership details on my labour account and they have changed the "sex" section, to which I had selected female to "gender identity".

I am so unspeakably angry about this! I had been considering leaving the party but this has made my mind up for me. How dare they! I don't have a "gender identity". How dare they change our personal information like this!

My complaint to the Labour Party about the unilateral and unwelcome alteration of my Mrs to Mx has resulted in a new card with the correct title on it, and an apologetic letter asking me to reconsider leaving as every voice matters. I call that a tentative positive.
