Staff Survey - Gender question

Our super woke organisation has sent around their annual staff survey this week.

I was (pleasantly) surprised that the gender identity option offered the following options:

• female
• male
• non-binary
• none
• other
• prefer not to say

I'm relatively new to this board, learning all the time, but am I right that at least 'none' is a suitable option for GC feminists?

I also appreciate it would better if they were asking about sex rather than gender. It did reference that the question may be different than the binary sex they already hold as part of your NI record.

They should ask both sex and gender to fully understand the mix and how many people could potentially be affected by which type of problems.

I'm going through this at work and trying to persuade them to ask both is surprisingly tricky.

It's a massively male heavy workplace as well.

They are also conflating sex with gender which is unhelpful to say the least.

I'd go for one of the last 4 options depending on mood probably.

They did also ask in the question before if we considered ourselves to be transgender. There was also the reference in the gender identity question about they already have our binary sex.

It would be interesting to know if they will be looking at all three pieces of data or just the transgender/sex ones.
