Oh good. The tide is definitely turning. We'd not have seen even a glimmer of an article like this a couple of years ago.

It is a good article I think, and I do have a lot of time for Ulrika. I thought she handled herself really well when the media made those awful "4x4" comments about her years ago.

Maybe it's just me but what really irritates me is the hesitant almost apologetic tone to the article. I don't blame the writer for that.

I think many parents of SJWs are trying to walk a line. All parents, from my Cllrs and MP to Jonathan Ross and Ulrika. Being open about not supporting self ID and gender ideology will mean there are rows at home so some will just be 'educated' to keep the peace.

That 42% figure is hopefully lower now and people can speak up but it really depends a lot on your family, work and home life.

All the more reason for us here at MN to be grateful and keep the faith. It's working.

Good lord Ulrika had to go through a LOT of handwringing and "most oppressed minority ever I'm so afraid to say this but...." to get there.

I like ulrika. She’s had to deal with a lot of crap over the years and a lot of it because she is female too.
She was the regular butt of the joke when on shooting stars and she always took in well, plus all that 4x4 stuff

Janet Street Porter wrote a column last week in the Mail criticising new NHS terminology. More and more women are saying enough's enough.

Well done Ulrika - very brave in these times - but yes she did have to be apologetic in the extreme to say something so inoffensive and what most people are thinking.
