Has anyone seen the stalker valentines cards for sale on Etsy? In what world is it ok to send someone one of these? What next - a card from your friendly local rapist?

Would you say the same if it were about rape? Stalking is a crime - not something to be used as a joke.

It was an interesting take on abusive relationships. The villain is a hero in his own mind.

No. I don’t find rape or stalking funny.
I believe some attempts at humour can be triggering for those directly affected.

Exactly. It is intended for those that have an interest in the tv show.

I bought my husband a valentines card a few years back that was about incest. It was a game of thrones card and we both found it funny. I'd put this in the same category.

I also think that this is aimed at people who have watched 'You'. The creepy stalker who in his own head is a romantic hero and the saviour of his target. The show in no way makes him a sympathetic character.

"You" does a great job of exposing the justifications used by stalkers and misogynists. It's the equivalent of someone having excerpts from 'The Rules of Misogyny' or something as a monologue in his head to explain what he's doing.

Somewhere recently took these off sale - I forget where.

Awful and should not be available in my opinion. Not sure what the complaint process to Etsy is.

You was a brilliant programme, can’t wait for season 3.

It really is just a reference to the extremely popular Netflix show.
