Aah, it's that time of the year again when social science students send out their surveys. Just had one asking me if I identify as male, female, NB, prefer not to say or Other.
Luckily, 'Other' had an option to express my gender identity, with apparently no upper word limit. That's kind of handy, because while my sex remains unchanged throughout the week, how I feel I am definitely alters. Sometimes I wish I could be a man, sometimes I feel like a man. Other times I feel I'm doing the donkey-work, thus, I am a donkey. I also homeschool and cook, so that may mean I appear to identify as woman, yet, I don't know, because my lack of makeup and my jeans and shirt kind of express more masculinity..although I do wear earrings in both ears. So, those days I guess I'm a bit non-binary..although, not completely. So, it was nice that for once there was enough space to truly detail my day by day identification-status. :))
I thought this crap would change now that the government rowed back on self-identies and the census is going to split the question. But no.
