I'd really like to read Suzanne Moore's Telegraph article today. I have PressReader, but can't seem to find it in the online "paper" copy of the newspaper.

Does anyone know where I can find it without subscribing? I still draw the line at giving money to the Telegraph.

I believe someone posted it to Ovarit, if it's still on the front page there.

Why do you draw the line when they are giving her a voice unlike The Guardian.

Haven't read that, but saw her Substack today about Julie Bindel. Surprised there isn't a thread on that here yet? Or did the column touch on the same?

It's a great article.

I took out a sub to the Telegraph back in 2016 when I saw how utterly blind-sided by Trump's election my American friends were; I felt it was a good idea to know what the other side was thinking.

Since then I've been very impressed by their coverage of women's issues and women's sport (their support for the "pregnant then screwed" campaign, their coverage of women in business to name but two).

Yes, frequently it's the Boris-graph (though it's interesting to watch them first fall out with him spectacularly about a year ago, then fall back in with him when the vaccination programme actually started to go well), they carry articles by Farage (which, even with my mantra of "keep your friends close and enemies closer - and always know what the buggers are thinking", I can't bring myself to read).

I also find their business and economics coverage very very interesting (am a big fan of Aditya Chakraborrty at the Guardian, but again, useful to know in detail what makes the other side tick).

It's also one of the cheaper papers to subscribe to.

Brave - see www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/4160844-The-post-cancellation-of-Julie-Bindel-Not-on-my-watch-mate-Suzanne-Moore

I think the Telegraph article is quite weak and I suspect only published because its negative about the UN rather than the actual issue.

Thanks all. I hadn't come across Ovarit before, so that was a find in itself.

I agree the Telegraph is standing up for women's rights, and is a one clear mainstream voice challenging the erosion of women's rights, but it is so fundamentally Tory that it makes me feel unwell to read the majority of its articles. I dip in and out of it via PressReader (as I do with most newspapers) regularly.

I am also concerned about the conflation of the anti trans-brigade with the idea that people who worry about this are conservative (with either a big or a little "c").
