I think she deserves a statue.

I remember when there was an attempt to deselect her, an interview where her view was that they were trying to find reasons which were not the real ones, and they should just say they don't want her because she is a lesbian.

The newspaper columnist Jean Rook really had it in for her and wrote all kinds of nasty stuff about her.
