Have started feeling really overwhelmed lately when it comes to defending women's rights. It really does seem like everyone just wants us to shut up and get over it.

Came across this just now, though. I felt a little bit of hope, reading the comments. I know it's not huge, but it was nice seeing men acknowledging women, and shutting down other men trying to make it about them.

Made the mistake of looking at other posts and found women falling over each other to say how allowing males to compete in female sports is fine by them. Just split sports by weight and height etc.

This is one of the thigngs that kind of breaks my faith in the general population not being terminally stupid. Do they really believe what they're saying, or are they just trying to work backwards to try to justify something they know doesn't seem to make sense, but they're supposed to go along with?

And cheetahs versus men is fine, as long as they weigh the same."

Would work in all the car racing classifications too - forget all those boring rules about suspension, engines, etc. Just have a weigh-in.

I did have a nice time looking through the bits I could flick through, though, not being on facebook. It was interesting that it is more normal for women and girls to be taught to carry a weapon, rather than men and boys being told not to rape.
