Good article from Jo.

I find myself incredulous this is an article that needed writing in the first place.

It seems like it's a weekend of fantastic articles. Great writing from Jo and I'm glad she highlighted that only Cambridge Press managed to write an article without referring to a rapist as "she".

The more sunlight this gets, the better.

I suppose when the judiciary, politicians and media among others are failing to ask the questions they should be, and instead are doing their utmost to disguise what's going on. Parents are being influenced by the brainwashing their kids are receiving via SM and education etc.

It does make me wonder where all this identity politics stops and how much harm will be done before populations start questioning in sufficient numbers to create global pushback and what things will look like by that point.

Another fantastic article

Agree with everyone. A great piece. There is so much good writing about at the moment from knowledgeable women determined that our rights will no longer be trashed by these powerful misogynists.

That's very clear and nicely concise.

Not that long ago I would have recoiled at the recommendation of any article in Spiked.

Now it's one of the few places where I can find one of the essential discussions of our present times happening without it being shut down or without me having to suffer a barrage of abuse as I engage.

The rapists are where calling men "she" is at its most grotesque, but this starts with calling any man a woman.

Why are we protecting the feelings of rapists?

Because that's what we've always done.

His feelings, his reputation, his employment prospects - these have always been considered more important than justice and fair treatment for his victims. Standard patriarchy, innit?

I did enjoy both links though. She's got quite the way with words!
