Yes that was the alert I got. I'd never heard of him so I googled to see what his flaw was. I suspected it might relate to some annoying woman trying to wreck his career.

My sympathy is with his victim and her family.

We parted on "he made some good music, for a murderer" which hopefully will stick when he talks to the next person.

He was a producer, not a promoter. Most 'extremely talented ' singers/musicians need producers to make records though a few are producers in their own right. I don't think Tina Turner or the Ronettes come into that category though. His legacy in the music business was producing a number of hits and a specific sound.

Woman's Hour covered the reporting of this quite well today. But, I think the male journalist they interviewed didn't quite 'get it' either.

I had no idea Spector murdered Lana Clarkson. He's still eulogised. The fact that it's a footnote in his life story is disgusting.
