She is shining a light.

This is obscene:

From the comment section:

"There has been a huge increase, but it is also propelled by woke parents who want the new "in" thing, having a trans child. I disagree with her assertion that porn is scaring girls in regard to boys, as studies show that testosterone levels are increasing in women and they are now becoming sexually aggressive, as well as becoming the largest consumers of porn."

Hmm

Not sure this kind of statistic is collected, but if there's anything to it, perhaps blokes self-identifying as women have made an impact on the numbers. Honestly though, women becoming the largest consumers of porn? Not buying it.

The Twitter link is indeed obscene.

I didn’t see that comment under the article. Was it written by a male? I think that there is a pressure on young girls to appear sexually aggressive and to appear to enjoy boundary crossing porn. I think this pressure contributes to them running away from womanhood, just like the book suggests.

As far as I know, this assertion is made based on Pornhub claiming that in their figures most porn was watched by people "registered as women".

Indeed. Like all the ‘women’ posting online reviews of M and S underwear of how great it makes them feel.

Do we think there is a link between the type of woman man this is?

Good to see this issue getting sunlight. Seems quite a long gap between it being published and this article, though. Things are maybe speeding up a bit.

Wonderful to see the MoS give Abigail Shrier so much space to explain her research. This is a brilliant article that lays it all out so clearly, including the health risks.
