It is pathetic how sexual assault is nothing but a political football. Who is and isn't branded a rapist really just boils down to who serves the establishment like Biden and who threatens it like Assange or Salmond. Threaten power and mainstream media brands one a rapist, serve power and mainstream media who just chanted 'believe women' brands the accuser a lunatic woman. I just can't.

And no, these distinctions in judgement are clearly not guided by differences in the available evidence.

I've never read Mother Jones but there's another article slating The Queen's Gambit because apparently a woman who likes beer, chess and has male friends is not realistic.

The misogny of the establishment left is on full display nowadays. I remember when its was the right who were open woman haters, well they've been well and truely outdone by the woke bros.

Pleased to see that they have removed whatever it was that article said about Tara Reade:

That note links to a hit piece on Reade in the Washington Post.

I have seen a few interviews with Reade and a video of an old phone-in TV show where her mother calls to ask for advice about her daughter being sexually harassed in the workplace when she worked for Biden.

It’s all very murky. Biden refuses to release archive material of HR records from that time which Reade claims support her allegations.

Very nasty to have included her in that list in the first place, particularly since nothing has been proved or disproved yet.

The whole article is pretty vile.
