Time to get back to the grind....

If you are in Scotland, there is a Consultation on Future Arrangements for Early Medical Abortion at Home.

The deadline for responses is Tuesday, 5th January.

I've found guidance from Engender to help respond to the consultation which looked useful when I skim read it.

If you know of any other women's group that has notes on writing submissions, please post it here.

I think for many women an ultrasound to confirm gestation is useful and for the clinicians prescribing the tablets. If you have irregular periods you need to be sure tablets are the appropriate method of terminating the pregnancy. I don't think ultrasounds are just an unnecessary bureaucratic step and think we need to ensure women don't get a poorer service because it's cheaper to do everything remotely.
