So... I'm the proud owner of an 18 month old boy... he's likely to be an only child and he's surrounded by people who love him

Howff do I stop him being spoiled ? He's a cheeky darling atm though quite wilful but he's greeting older so how do u cope with him

I have a 10 year old ds. I just treat him like a mother! With love, and kindness, and try and show him what is right and wrong.

You can't spoil a child with love!

Realising that you don’t “own” a child is the first step.

I have a 5 year old DS

I mostly just love him

All the people who love him can help to teach him right from wrong, instil curiosity and answer his questions and mainly not swamp him with stuff so that he never learns to delay gratification or treasure things.

Teach him good manners, instil good morals, a love of learning and exploring, social responsibility and a work ethic that includes helping with chores.

Basically, remember you want to raise a child into a decent adult.
