There is actually a great deal of evidence available from centres of excellence in the treatment of trans kids worldwide. What we don’t have is evidence published by the NHS.

Less than 1% of the 3,398 trans patients who accessed NHS support went on to detransition. Many of the people who detransition say that their reasons for doing so weren't regret, but rather lack of support from families and communities.
