I was just reading Jon Pike’s work and couldn’t agree more with it.

I’ve been thinking about inclusion in sport for a while and enraged by the Megan Rapinoe/Billie Jean King shenanigans lately.

If we don’t go with a female and open category as Jon suggests, then what about some kind of mandatory quota in men’s sports?

For every sport that allows males to compete in female categories or teams there MUST be a trans identifying female on every male team. Regardless of ability. Regardless of level. Male Olympic cycling team? Here’s your transman to compete.

Sadly though, as with TM in male spaces, there is not an equal impact on the group the space was designed for, because of sex class based differences. The reality is that in almost all cases, the TM would have the horrible experience of being right out of their league and left in the dust; they have no unfair advantage and they are no threat to the existing group.

This is the reality: it would take the most exceptional female athlete to challenge elite male athletes. While a very mediocre male athlete can present a serious challenge to the elite female athletes. Because of sex based differences.

There is a competitive incentive for TW to compete in female categories: it's silly to deny it. Many male athletes could excel in a female competition that couldn't qualify in the men's competition. There is no competitive incentive for TM to compete in male categories; one who managed to win against male athletes would truly achieve something outstanding. For females.

The sex class can't be disappeared. The most we can do is pretend it has, and that it doesn't matter, and try not to look at the sex class being massively discriminated against and disadvantaged by the other in the process.

Doesn’t matter if they can compete or not. They must be included.

And if males don’t want them included, why not? It’s dangerous? Well no more dangerous than males playing in female sports.

Until this bullshit starts making men lose their places then nothing will change.

I completely agree on all your points by the way.
