I can't find her. Has she left? She is my go-to person for info on women's rights.

Oh no I can't find her either. She had posted that she was locking her account for a while, she'd put up with quite a bit of grief before that.

Well, it does just look like a deactivated account - I'm getting the "This account doesn't exist" that happens if you totally deactivate (rather than lock to followers only). And you can do that temporarily.

(Speaking from experience of seeing people doing it, rather than having a Twitter account myself.)

Hopefully she is having a break from all the toxic ones on twitter. She has been outstanding - especially her magnificent performance (along with Rosa Freedman & Alice Sullivan) in the face of the collective ignorance and misogyny from allegedly intelligent MPs at the misnamed Women and Equalities Committee.

I'm just so grateful to her and all the women who stand up and speak out in the face of so many threats.

She's just been namechecked in that NY article about JKR which is the subject of a separate thread. That may well have been the last straw. I hope to see her back, I think she's marvellous.

I think she had a run in with Daniel Lavery (Grace Lavery’s ‘husband’) last week - he was being pretty vile about her. It sounded like she was taking a Christmas break off Twitter (probably a very good idea).

I think she said she was taking a break over Xmas.

I love Tiiffany! Sorry to hear that. I don't have a twitter account but I do read it. As you say, she cuts through the bullshit.

Tiffany and Asteroid are brilliant on twitter. Twitter really are misogynist fools and do not hide their hatred of women.
